Help children return to working classrooms.
School Aid MTÜ supports disaster-affected and underprivileged children with practical school materials and classroom equipment. We deliver in person and are developing programmes in Morocco and the Philippines.
We support existing schools and children’s access to learning. We do not operate a school or provide teaching.
Completed work
The work began during David and Maribeth de Montaigne’s personal journey through Morocco in March–April 2024. School Aid MTÜ was registered on 14 October 2024. Return visits in November 2024 and January 2025 developed direct and community-led school-supply deliveries.

Current preparation
In Mina, Iloilo, we are preparing a first Philippines delivery. The August 2026 visit involved school assessments and local consultation; it was not an equipment delivery. The first delivery is planned for October 2026, subject to funding and local agreements.

Future proposals
Refurbished technology, solar power and battery backup are planned additions to school-material support. Internet connections will depend on lawful availability, local infrastructure and funding. These plans are not claims of completed installations.
How we work
We assess needs with local contacts, source appropriate materials locally where possible, deliver in person and report what was delivered. Future deliveries are intended to include itemised expenditure and handover records.
